History

Ironroad AB’s headquarters is located in Stockholm, Sweden, and has subsidaries in Indonesia, the Philippines, India, Spain, Norway, Denmark, and Germany. The business started in 2006 as a product development company for mobile video services. The company received vast attention for its achievements and received the “Guldmobilen” award in 2006 as the “new comer” of the year. Today Ironroad has entered the messaging market with its product VMS – the third product in the trilogy of SMS, MMS and VMS (Video Message Service).

Ironroad is live in Sweden with Telia, Tele2 and 3 and has cooperation agreements with 12 content providers.

Ironroad is also live with three mobile operators with over 100 million subscribers in Indonesia. And have cooperation agreement with SCM, Indonesia’s largest media company, to distribute their video content, such as news, gossip etc., directly to mobile phones.
